Bosnia has signed an agreement with a regional freight railway company designed to make the transport of cargo through the former Yugoslavia easier and cheaper.
A Bosnian railway official signed the agreement with the founders of the Slovenia-based Cargo 10 company Wednesday.
It will implement new regulations that will prevent major holdups at customs checkpoints when freight trains cross borders in the region and eliminate transit fees.
The regional company, Cargo 10, was already joined by the railways of Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia and started operating at the beginning of October.
